Janet Taylor’s death left a big hole in many of our lives here in the village of West Stafford. Janet was a great friend and her kind and quiet friendship will be truly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

Janet was an exceptional person, highly intelligent with a degree in English Literature and as a founder member of the West Stafford Book Club & Wine Appreciation Society, we got to learn of her love of writing. Her book ‘The Unpredictability of Frogs’ was published on Amazon recently and we know she would love it if you were to read it and enjoy it.

She spent many years as a Learning Mentor and Teaching Assistant at Puddletown School, where her self-effacing, kindness, patience, commitment, and loyalty was very much in evidence and she was respected by all who worked with her.

She held everyone in high regard irrespective of status. Janet was insightful and perceptive and had an independence of mind that shone through.

Her hobbies included Literature, Art. Gardening and Cooking (she was an excellent cook) but mostly she will be remembered for her gentleness and wonderful sense of humour.

Janet, wife to Paul, mother to her three sons Matt, Ben, and Joe, and loving friend to many, died at home in Worcestershire surrounded by her family and will be missed greatly and remembered by all who knew her in West Stafford.
